… and let go of the rest. It’s one of the first lessons we teach the students who go through our sales & leadership program. Why? Because too many people go through life trying to control what’s outside of their grasp: namely, other people. You can’t control whether or not someone will like you, or if they’ll want what you’re selling. You can’t control your past, the weather, or what year it is. All you can control is how you react to what life throws your way. So we say let go of life, and improve what you can. Everything else will fall into place.
